HELP FOR HEROES  4 X 4

EUROPEAN RALLY 2010

 19th to 29th June 2010

The HELP FOR HEROES EUROPEAN 4X4 RALLY 2010 follows the path and tells the story of the Allied Invasion through Europe and includes parts fabled by the Band of Brothers book and TV series. Starting on Saturday 19th June at a secret location in Wiltshire, entrants will follow the by-ways of Salisbury Plain to travel to Portsmouth

to embark on the ferry to France .

Covering 1650 miles, encompassing 6 countries in 10 days the event will follow a route through Arromanches, Arnhem , Bastogne , and the notorious Dachau before reaching it’s final destination at Hitler’s “Eagles Nest” in the Bavarian Alps . 45 vehicles will be taking part in this non-speed rally which is part history tour, fun competition, and off-road driving event. The rally is independently organised and all funds raised will be donated to Help for Heroes, a charity which provides financial, social and emotional support to millions who have served and are currently serving in the Armed Forces, and their dependants.

Team Wickes

Team Wickes consists of a father and two sons from Waltham Abbey who will be driving a modified Jeep 1996 Cherokee in the rally. Steve is the son of the late Roy Wickes, a staunch supporter of the Old Dux Ass. We are actively seeking sponsorship from individuals and companies who would like to support this worthy cause.

Individual donations will go directly to Help for Heroes

Corporate sponsorship will assist us to cover the substantial costs involved in taking part in this event (about £3000). In return for corporate sponsorship, the team vehicle will carry your company or organisations logo prior to, during and for up to 12 months after the event. What better way to achieve high profile advertising and help a worthycause at the same time?
